Sustainable Health in the Community

Sustainable Health in the Community has the mission of supporting the health of people and their communities. The objective of this program is to establish a presence in communities using the Institute’s relationship with community organizers and activists (that is, through the Sustainable Health for Change program), through the Sustainable Health Institute Local Chapters program, and through the Sustainable Health Stewards program.
The Change Your Health, Change the World workshops for communities and Thrive: A Citizen’s Guide to Sustainable Health are the first services in this program.
This program develops additional workshops, events, and other sustainable health education services for communities, in particular working with and through existing community organizations, Local Chapters, and Stewards. It is also where Thrive is maintained and where derivative works are developed.
